1930-2004 Derrida, Jacques French philosopher whose critique of Western philosophy and analyses of the nature of language, writing, and meaning were highly controversial yet immensely influential in much of the intellectual world in the late 20th century.
1959- Wolfram, Stephen British-American computer scientist, physicist, and businessman. He is known for his work in computer science, mathematics, and in theoretical physics. In 2012, he was named an inaugural fellow of the American Mathematical Society. In April 2020 he announced his open-source project to find the fundamental theory of physics.
